How Eric Chelle Super Eagles will play against Rwanda

Today, Eric Chelle will have his baptism of fire as Super Eagles in a must-win 2026 World Cup qualifier in Rwanda.

Sources close to the former Mali coach informed SCORENigeria that he will most likely start this crunch game with a 4-4-2 formation and change to various formations as the need arises.

The 4-4-2 is what Nigerian football has thrived on, using the speed and power of the players on the wings to deliver for the two strikers.

“The players for this formation are in abundance and that is how Eric will start,” a source revealed.

“He could later change to other formations if the need arises.

“But the main thing is that every player must work for the team.”

From the three trainings in Kigali, Moses Simon will start from the left flank, while Samuel Chukwueze is deployed to the right.

The two strikers will be Victor Osimhen on top with Ademola Lookman to support.

It is a firepower that should deliver goals and victory today to get Nigeria’s World Cup qualification hopes back on track.
