Super Eagles invitee Anthony Dennis sets double targets

Goztepe midfielder Anthony Dennis, who was named in the Super Eagles provisional squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, has set two top targets with his Turkish club.

The 20-year-old box-to-box midfielder said he hopes to win the Turkish Cup as well as qualify his team for a European competition come next season.

“I hope to get my club to play in a European competition next season and also win the Turkiye Cup,” he told SCORENigeria

“We are on track to achieving these targets”

The Kaduna-born midfielder has attributed his fast rise to top reckoning to the support he has received both on and off the pitch.

“Only two years ago I was playing football in Nigeria and today I am fighting my way to the top,” he said.

“A special thank you to my agent and also Mr Veron for all the support and encouragement.”

His displays have already attracted from several French Ligue 1 clubs.
