Michael Kayode moves to Premier League

Michael Kayode has swapped Serie A for the Premier League after he completed a loan transfer to Brentford from Fiorentina.

The 20-year-old fullback has an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.

Brentford sports director Paul Giles said Kayode fits the team’s style.

“Michael is a player who we believe will suit Brentford and the physical part of the Premier League very well,” he remarked.

“The structure of the deal gives us a chance to integrate him into the squad and Premier League football before we look forward to making the signing permanent in the summer.”
