After they failed to win their last two games in June, Moses Simon has said it is important that the Super Eagles beat Benin to get their 2025 AFCON qualifying campaign off on a good note.
Fresh from scoring for FC Nantes in their win at Montpellier in the French Ligue 1, Moses Simon said a win is the most important thing when both Nigeria and Benin do battle again on Saturday in Uyo.
“Of course all Nigerians are expecting a win, so we will just go there, do our best,” said the winger, who has returned to international duty after he broke his Fibula against Mali in March
“The best Nigeria need is to find a win, this is the most important thing”.
The Super Eagles will also fly out to Kigali to tackle Rwanda three days later in another AFCON qualifier.
