Raphael Onyedika will return to the starting XI of Club Brugge in tonight’s all-important Belgian Championship Playoff clash against visiting Genk, who parade fellow Nigerian Tolu Arokodare.
The Super Eagles midfielder, who has netted three goals thus far in the Championship Playoffs, missed his team’s last game after he was suspended for picking up three bookings in the series.
His return comes at a good time because both Club Brugge and Genk are the teams on hot form in the playoffs after a laboured campaign in the regular season.
Club Brugge are now second in the standings just two points behind leaders Anderlecht after they finished the regular season 19 points behind table toppers Union St.Gilloise.
Genk are fourth in the Championship Playoffs, four points off the pace, after they ended the regular season 23 points behind the top team.
Both teams have won three and drawn a game in the playoffs to record 10 points from possible 12 points.
