Exciting left winger Promise Meliga will sign his first professional contract with Norwegian club Valerenga in August when he turns 18.
Valerenga announced that they have offered him a contract until 2029.
The Norwegian club further said they have reached a pre-contract agreement with Beyond Limits on the player.
“Promise will have time to develop at a reasonable pace, but it’s impossible not to be excited here,” remarked the Valerenga sports director.
“This is a player Geir and Petter watched in Nigeria last fall, and they were sold immediately.
“He has impressed us in training during the days he has been here, and it was a no-brainer to get this letter of intent with Beyond Limits.”
Meliga, 17, has shone in training with Valerenga and will return to Nigerian club Beyond Limits before he heads back to Norway again in June.
Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke started out at Valrenga before he made his way to the Spanish La Liga.
