Victor Boniface super rich transfer to top Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr is “100% off”.
This is after the Saudi club opted to sign Aston Villa and Colombia striker Jhon Duran instead.
Top Bayer Leverkusen official Simon Rolfes confirmed that the deal has collapsed.
Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany reported: “Victor #Boniface to Al Nassr 100% off.
“Deal has finally collapsed tonight (Wednesday) as Leverkusen boss Simon Rolfes confirmed just a few seconds ago.
“Despite all verbal agreements and the completed medical check, Al-Nassr have canceled the deal with #Boniface and Bayer 04.
“The delegation is returning to Saudi Arabia with Boniface.
“Al-Nassr have decided to sign Jhon #Duran from Aston Villa instead.”
Boniface, 24, would have earned in Saudi Arabia 15 Million Euros-a-year, which is seven times what he gets at Bundesliga champions Leverkusen..
This is a similar heartbreak as what Victor Osimhen suffered in the summer, when another Saudi club, Al Ahli, opted for Ivan Toney, at the last moment.
