Social media critic, VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Martins Vincent Otse, has called out TVC, a popular national TV in the country, over a recent video from a show where their presenters spoke about him.
A clip shared by VeryDarkMan captured some presenters sharing their opinions about VeryDarkMan’s response to Hilda Baci’s recent Jollof cookathon.

Recall that VeryDarkMan addressed people who claimed he was jealous of the crowd Hilda pulled during her cookathon.
According to VeryDarkMan, Nigerians were usually attached to rice, which has always been an instrument of distraction.
He, however, noted that he had no reason to be jealous of Hilda, as he has the biggest movement in the country. He added that Hilda did what ‘girls do,’ but he has an issue with people in corners applauding her.
VeryDarkMan reacts to TVC’s presenters’ opinion
While a presenter pointed out that VeryDarkMan was encouraging people to do better for themselves, like Hilda, another queried why the critic must jump on every trend in the country.
Reacting, VeryDarkMan bragged about the crowd he pulls, citing his role in protests in Benue, Edo, and Anambra states.

According to the critic, there is a difference between the kind of crowd he pulls and that of others in the country.
“Crowds that go for enjoyment are different from crowds that go for war; I can’t compare the crowd I pull with what others pull,” he said in part.
In a caption of the video, VeryDarkMan added,
“I guess we now know who is more influential, clowns, everything to force the VDM hate,” he said.
