A fresh update on the ongoing legal battle between Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, and Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin has sparked online reactions.
Television Continental (TVC) reported that all versions of the controversial diss track “Ole” by VeryDarkMan have been removed from major streaming platforms. The song was initially released as a clapback at singer Portable during a social media exchange.

According to TVC, the takedown followed a court order obtained by Prophet Fufeyin, the founder of Mercyland Deliverance Ministry. A TVC reporter confirmed that the streaming platforms acted in full compliance with an interlocutory injunction issued by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, Nyanya division (suit no: FCT/CV/3340/2024).
In July, TheTalk.NG reported that Justice A. Yesuf Shafa imposed a full injunction restraining VeryDarkMan from publishing or circulating any allegedly defamatory material against Prophet Fufeyin across digital platforms. The ruling also struck out all preliminary objections raised by the social media personality.

TVC added that the case has been adjourned to October 27, 2025, for continuation of hearing.
