According to him, some Nigerians were labelled as fraudsters and accused of being promiscuous. He also mentioned that Ghanaians asked Nigerians to vacate the country due to their alleged dubious activities, which prompted him to visit Ghana to investigate the truth.
VDM interviews Nigerians in Ghana
While interviewing Nigerian traders in Ghana, one man noted that Ghanaians want Nigerians to focus on retailing, leaving the wholesale aspect to them.
However, after a while, they realized they were owed a lot of money. The traders rely on their own capital to run their businesses.
The man also revealed that Ghanaians had demanded $2 million from them to allow them to become retailers in Ghana.
The man also shared that he had been in Ghana for 25 years, married a Ghanaian, and has five children.

When asked by the activist why Nigerians sell goods at cheaper prices compared to their Ghanaian counterparts, the man explained that it’s not possible to do so without covering costs.
He mentioned that there are borders to cross, and they have to pay for their goods to enter the country. They also pay taxes in Ghana, so it’s not feasible to run businesses at a loss.
VDM then addressed the issue of promiscuity among Nigerians. Speaking to another Igbo trader, he asked if it was true that Nigerians are the most promiscuous in Ghana.
The man denied the claim, stating that both Nigerians and Ghanaians visit call girls for enjoyment. When asked by VDM to survey those gathered, most of the men raised their hands in agreement.
The TikToker who recently had a fall-out with Phyna concluded by emphasizing that Nigerians and Ghanaians should embrace unity.
He noted that the dispute they are trying to highlight was caused by colonialists who introduced the transatlantic slave trade to Africa many years ago.
