The Black Satellites of Ghana needed a stoppage time penalty goal to draw 2-2 with Benin in a Group A match of the WAFU B U20 AFCON qualifier in Lome, Togo.
Jerry Afriye netted a brace for the Ghanaians.
Midfielder Razack Rachidou was named Man of the Match.
In the first game of Thursday, home team Togo also drew 2-2 with Niger.
Group A matches will continue Sunday.
