Trabzonspor will not be the only top Turkish club who will try to sign Paul Onuachu in January after reports emerged that Besiktas have also stepped into the scramble for the giant striker.
Trabzonspor failed in the summer to buy Onuachu in the summer after he posted a successful loan spell with them.
They did not meet the valuation of the striker by the Premier League club Southampton.
Fotomac said Trabzonspor will attempt again in the winter transfer window to sign the 30-year-old striker, who netted 17 goals and made four assists last season.
Onuachu’s former Belgian club Genk are also reported to be keen on having him back.
The player himself is open to quitting the Premier League as he has not enjoyed regular game time at ‘The Saints’.
