Victor Osimhen has been left all furious and his relationship with Napoli “destroyed” after he could not make a transfer away from the Italian club on Deadline Day.
“Victor Osimhen is furious with Napoli, the relationship is completely over,” Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano described the situation.
“Total Madness.Madness.
“The situation between Napoli and Osimhen is completely destroyed, really.
“I don’t think there’s any chance of what happened in a normal way.”
A lucrative switch to top Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli collapsed after they could not reach an agreement with Napoli.
Al Ahli had already agreed personal terms with the striker – a four-year deal, salary of 40 Million Euros-a-year as well as a termination clause that will be effective right from the first season.
Chelsea also made a late push for the Napoli striker, but the Premier League always wanted him to take a huge pay cut, which he has maintained he will not accept.
PSG, who had agreed personal terms with the player at the start of the transfer window, did not come back for him as he had hoped they will do.
It will be a difficult few months for the Super Eagles striker as he will be frozen out at Napoli, who 14 months ago he shot the goals that won them their third Scudetto.
New Napoli coach Antonio Conte has got his preferred striker Romelu Lukaku and Osimhen has been relegated to the background, and this could be for some time to come.
