British newspaper The Telegraph has reported that an agreement between Chelsea and Napoli on the transfer of Romelu Lukaku has now opened the door for Victor Osimhen to go in the opposite direction.
According to The Telegraph, Osimhen has been a long-term target for Chelsea and manager Enzo Maresca said they will try to sign a No 9 before the transfer window closes on August 30.
SkySports has reported that Napoli will pay 30 Million Euros plus 30% on the future resale for 30-year-old Lukaku.
The Belgium international has agreed a three-year contract.
It will now be interesting what Chelsea and Napoli will agree on Osimhen as the London club have so far insisted the Super Eagles striker could only come down to Stamford Bridge on loan.
His release clause of 130 Million Euros as well as his huge salary will also have to be dealt with.
