Creative video director, ThankGod Omori Jesam, better known as TG Omori, has reflected on the staggering costs of managing his health over six months.
In a series of posts on X, Omori, who battled kidney issues a few months ago, noted that the bills alone could cover not just one but multiple luxury vehicles: two Mercedes‑GLEs and a small C‑Class 300.

Citing this, TG Omori reaffirmed the old adage that health is wealth.
He wrote:
“Saw my 6months health expenses, Omo 2 GLE and one small C300 bro! Health is wealth true true.”

Delving deeper, he broke down the crippling cost per dialysis session, which he claimed is over ₦100,000. When someone requires three sessions a week, that mounts to well over ₦300,000 weekly, versus the typical minimum wage of only ₦70,000 in Nigeria.
Omori noted that this left him in tears while still at the hospital, as the realisation dawned that the common man had no chance in such a circumstance.
In his words:
“Dialysis is about 100k plus per session, sometimes you need 3 sessions in a week, minimum wage is 70k. Knowing this fact brought me tears in the hospital ’cause no hope for the common man.”

Against this backdrop, Omori shared that he is channelling his creativity toward something meaningful.
He revealed that he is working on his first major glasses design, and when it launches, a portion of the proceeds will go to support those living with kidney disease who can’t afford dialysis.
He stated:
“I’m working on my first major glasses design that will be up on sale soon where some of the proceeds will go to people living with Kidney Diseases that can’t afford to pay for their dialysis.

TG Omori reflects on life
Meanwhile, TheTalk.NG reported that TG Omori reflected on life and freedom while recovering from a kidney transplant.
Omori’s brother donated a kidney to him in August 2024.
