Super Falcons caretaker coach Justin Madugu has admitted the team are sweating on the fitness of some call-ups for Saturday’s high-profile friendly against France.
“We have some injury problems and we will see what happens by Thursday,” Madugu disclosed.
Skipper Rasheedat Ajibade has already been left out of the friendly on account of injury, while Asisat Oshoala is processing her travel documents and so cannot fly down for the game.
Madugu is rebuilding the Super Falcons for the 2025 WAFCON in Morocco, where they are drawn against Algeria, Tunisia and Botswana.
He has handed opportunities to players who feature in the domestic league.
