Al Ittihad thrashed Jeddah SC of Saudi Arabia 13-1 in the Saudi Gold Cup with Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre again unstoppable.
Just a week ago, Plumptre made a return from the long injury lay-off that prevented her from making the Super Falcons Olympics squad, making her return against AIUla, as a 87th minute substitute in the Saudi Women’s Premier League.
Plumptre got a starter’s shirt Friday night against Jeddah and she impressed by netting the fifth goal of Ittihad 13 goals.
She also assisted in three other goals.
Up next for her is a matchup against third placed Al-Hilal.
