Dallas Trinity defeated Brooklyn FC 6-0 in the first meeting at Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas.
Camryn Lancaster scored the opening goal of the match in the sixth minute, before enterprising striker Allie Thornton doubled the visitor’s lead in the 19th minute.
Sealey Strawn took the game beyond the hosts with the last goal of the game in the 58th minute.
Deborah Abiodun, who is on loan from Washington Spirit, was part of the victorious team.
Nigerian-American Chioma Ubogagu also featured in the game for Dallas Trinity.
