Skipper Rasheedat Ajibade scored twice for the Super Falcons to beat their Cameroonian counterparts 2-0 in a friendly today in Abeokuta.
This was a tune-up match for the nine-time African champions ahead of next month’s WAFCON in Morocco.
Ajibade opened scoring from the penalty spot on 28 minutes, before she doubled the lead two minutes from the break courtesy of an assist by Rinsola Babajide.
Cameroon, who failed to qualify for the WAFCON, were denied a goal in stoppage time by goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie.
