The Super Eagles will be expected to beat Libya both at home and away, according to former international star Victor Ikpeba.
The Super Eagles will welcome the North Africans Friday before both teams clash again in Libya four days later.
“The Super Eagles have what it takes to punish Libya in both legs,” Ikpeba said on Supersport TV programme Monday Night Football
“You have to respect Libya, they will come down to defend with their lives and rely on counter attacks.
“They may be missing some key players, but we shouldn’t bother ourselves with what is going on with them.
“The Super Eagles are fed up with the criticisms after the World Cup qualifiers, they now want to get it right.
“So, we should do the job on Friday and that will lead us to another win in Libya.”
The Super Eagles lead Group D with four points from two matches, while Libya are bottom on a point.
