Coach Eric Chelle has said the severity of the ankle injury that forced Victor Osimhen out of today’s World Cup qualifier against Rwanda will be ascertained tomorrow.
Osimhen was forced out of the match in the 33rd minute.
The coach said Osimhen felt some pain around the ankle and so was pulled out.
The Super Eagles are due to depart Uyo tomorrow for South Africa.
They battle home team Bafana Bafana Tuesday in Bloemfontein in continuation of the 2026 World Cup qualifying series.
