As first reported by SCORENigeria, AJ Auxerre defender Gabriel Osho will make his Super Eagles debut as a starter tonight against Benin in a decisive 2025 AFCON qualifier.
The 26-year-old defender was first called up for friendlies against Ghana and Mali in March.
However, injury delayed his international debut.
He is part of a three-man defence that also has captain William Ekong and Calvin Bassey.
Kelechi Iheanacho is the other surprise as he has been selected ahead of Moses Simon in attack along with top striker Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.
In the middle are Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi along with wing backs Bruno Onyemaechi and Ola Aina.
