Bright Osayi-Samuel, who has yet to join the Super Eagles camp for a 2025 AFCON qualifier against Libya, has been linked with a shock transfer to Galatasaray from bitter city rivals Fenerbache.
Osayi-Samuel has been locked in contract talks with Fenerbache as his deal will run out next summer.
That could well be the reason he has yet to join the Super Eagles camp in Uyo.
The 26-year-old defender has asked for a pay rise before he will sign a new four-year contract, while Fenerbache have been stalling.
At the same time, Fenerbache do not wish for the player to leave on a free transfer next year.
According to Fotomac, Galatasaray now want to sign the Nigeria star as a free agent in June 2025.
This past summer, Galatasaray signed Belgium striker Michy Batsuayi on a free transfer from Fenerbache.
