Super Eagles star names his price to Turkish giants

Bright Osayi-Samuel has been recalled to the Super Eagles for the 2025 AFCON double-header against Libya after injury ruled him out of last month’s qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda.

He has also told Turkish giants Fenerbache what he will want for him to extend his contract before it runs out next summer.

According to Sabah newspaper, the 26-year-old defender wants to earn 2.5 Million Euros a year and be given a four-year contract.

He is currently on 1.8 Million Euros a year.

It was also reported that Fenerbache do not wish to pay him more than 2 Million Euros annually even as several top clubs across Europe are circling around him.

The Istanbul giants had previously suspended negotiations for a new contract.

Osayi-Samuel moved to Turkey in the 2020-21 season from English club QPR.

This season he has provided an assist in six appearances.

His current Transfermarkt valuation is eight Million Euros.
