Fisayo Dele-Bashiru will not make his comeback from injury tonight after the Super Eagles midfielder was not listed by Lazio in the matchday squad for a UEFA Europa League Round of 16 tie at Czech club Vitoria Plzen.
Dele Bashiru injured his ankle in a Serie A clash against Venezia last month, but he was widely expected to return to action tonight in the Europa League.
The midfielder has also been named on the Super Eagles provisional squad for 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda (March 21) and Zimbabwe (March 25).
Could he now be ruled out of these must-win ties?
