Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi is closing in on a return to action, according to English club Hull City.
Ajayi has been out since an opening day draw with Coventry City.
This kept him out of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa earlier this month.
Hull City manager Sergej Jakirovic will decide on whether to list the central defender on the matchday squad at Watford.
However, he will certainly be ready for the matches against Preston North End or Sheffield United before next month’s international break.
