SCORENigeria has learnt that the Super Eagles staff have reached out to FC Nantes winger Moses Simon over an ankle injury that threatens to keep him out of must-win 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The FC Nantes coach said the player has missed several days training due to an ankle problem.
However, Moses Simon assured he is fit for the Super Eagles games.
“The Super Eagles have been in touch with Moses Simon to ascertain the extent of the injury,” a source told SCORENigeria
“No one wants to take any chances for these two matches and so everything is being done to make sure he’s good to go.”
The Super Eagles face Rwanda on March 21 before they welcome Zimbabwe to Uyo four days later.
