Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has identified as many as 28 strikers who could play for Nigeria, while also expressing his excitement with how Genk striker Tolu Arokodare has shot his way to the top of Belgium.
The legendary Segun ‘Mathematical’ Odegbami made disclosure today during his weekly programme ’90 Minutes with Mathematical’ on Eagle 7 FM.
“Eric Chelle told us during a dinner in Abuja that he has so far identified as many of 28 strikers mainly from the diaspora for the Super Eagles,” Odegbami revealed.
“He was also excited by what a striker like Tolu (Arokodare) is going in Belgium with Genk.
“Tolu was a graduate of the Segun Odegbami Sports College.”
Arokodare is the leading scorer in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League with 16 goals, his most prolific campaign since he moved to Europe in 2019.
