The Super Eagles plan to storm Rwanda next month for a must-win 2026 World Cup qualifier with at least three chartered flights.
The authorities plan for the Super Eagles to enjoy as much support as possible in Kigali on March 21, when they take on home team and group leaders Rwanda in a crucial World Cup qualifier.
However, top officials have told SCORENigeria that these special flights are “not cheap”.
“The cost of these flights is not cheap,” one official lamented.
“One of the airlines has charged as much as 200 Million Naira.”
The Amavubis of Rwanda held the Super Eagles to a goalless draw when both teams clashed in a 2025 AFCON qualifier in September 2024, before the Amavubis stunned home team Nigeria 2-1 in the reverse tie in Uyo in November.
