Super Eagles captain names Osimhen’s new club

Former Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo has already picked the top European club Victor Osimhen will play for after his loan spell at Galatasaray.

Osimhen has insisted he will not break up his loan contract with Galatasaray despite concrete offers from some of Europe’s top clubs.

He will therefore be at the Istanbul giants as they aim for a third straight Turkish league championship.

However, in the summer Osimhen will have to sign for a new club and Yobo said that club should be Manchester United.

“Victor and Manchester United would be a perfect fit and if they sign him there is no doubt he will be successful,” Yobo said.

“Despite the difficult transition period, Manchester United are still among the top three clubs in the world and that will not change anytime soon.”

The former Everton star further called on Osimhen to take up the United deal after he has initially rejected it.

“If you ask me, I’ll be honest with you; Victor should accept the offer if it comes,” he said.

“Amorim, one of the best of his generation, has exciting projects… If Amorim wants to trust Victor to be one of the leaders of this transitional project, then yes, I think he should not think twice and accept the offer.”
