Nigerian social media users and the entire film industry has been thrown into mourning as actress Foluke Daramola has lost her mother Rev. (Mrs.) Aderonke Daramola, nee Oshobu.
According to reports, she died after a protracted illness on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the age of 82 years.
The actress, known for her philanthropic side towards her colleagues, shared the sad news through her official social media handle.

Foluke Daramola’s husband says he has taken a third wife
According to a previous report by TheTalk.NG, Kayode Salako, Foluke Daramola’s husband stated in a post on Facebook that he now has a third wife.
He added that bloggers had been taunting him over the new wife and her son as he tried to clarify issues.
Salako also shared the role his actress wife played in him getting a third wife and the relationship she shared with the woman.
