Sky Sports has reported that Victor Osimhen could well consider a transfer to Saudi Arabia if after Deadline Day he is still at Napoli.
Chelsea are today reported to be considering other options outside Osimhen because of his high salary, which he has said he will not reduce.
PSG are expected to make a late bid for the Napoli, but should he still be a Napoli player by Friday midnight, he could decide to take the cash from Saudi Arabia, according to Sky Sports.
Sky Sports has reported that Saudi Arabia deal makers are targeting Osimhen and that initial contacts have been made again in the last few hours.
Al Ahli, Al Hilal and most lately Al Qadsiah have contacted the Super Eagles star.
The television channel said that the oil-rich kingdom may not be the player’s first choice, but he will hold on until the European transfer market closes Friday midnight to decide on such a move.
The Saudis have not agreed a transfer fee with Napoli but this is not expected to be much of a problem.
The transfer window in Saudi Arabia is open until October 6.
