Super Eagles stars Kelechi Iheanacho and Victor Boniface have got over recent disappointments by making instant impressions at their new clubs.
5.Bamidele Yusuf
The winger has hit the ground running at his new base in Hungary by helping himself to four goals in a cup tie. He hit target in the 30, 57, 73 and 85th minutes for Ferencvaros to massacre Szarvaskend 15-0. Yusuf joined the top Hungarian club from Serbian club Vojvodina in the closing days of the summer transfer window for 2.5 million euros. He has also been named on the club’s UEFA Europa League squad.
4.Olanrewaju Kayode
The Super Eagles striker grabbed his third goal of the season for Erokspor to thrash Hatayspor 4-1. He scored twice in this big home win. Kayode’s club are third in the standings in Turkish second division with 10 points from five matches, two points behind leaders Corum, to stay on track to the Super Lig.
3.Rafiu Durosinmi
The big striker may not have made the big transfer as many had expected and so has continued to deliver the goals for his Czech club Viktoria Plzen. This past this week, he smashed the match winner for Viktoria Plzen to pip Sigma Olomouc. Could he still for Turkey after Gent bid for him was rejected by his club?
2.Victor Boniface
The Bayer Leverkusen loanee came off the bench to provide an assist for Werder Bremen to record a 4-0 win at Borussia Monchengladbach in the German Bundesliga. The striker did not waste time to let his critics know he is up and firing again. “Unserious student don do assist ooo,” he posted on X

1.Kelechi Iheanacho
Iheanacho also did not waste any time to announce his arrival in the Scottish Premiership when he fired the winning goal for champions Celtic to win 2-1 at Kilmarnock. He also came off the bench to put away a stoppage time spot kick for ‘The Bhoys’ to record their fourth win of the new season. This effort will do the confidence of ‘Senior Man Kels’ a world of good after his recent struggles in Spain. He is back with his coach at Leicester City Brendan Rodgers and it can only get better for the striker.
