Cyriel Dessers shamed critics by posting a hat-trick and an assist to steal the headlines in a week that also saw fellow Super Eagles stars Moses Simon and Ola Aina shine.
5.Moses Simon
The Super Eagles flying winger is now just a goal shy of his most prolific campaign in France after he scored his fifth Ligue 1 goal at Saint Etienne. He was Player of the Month for December by FC Nantes fans during which he scored a great individual goal against Rennes. His goals and overall displays will again be crucial in FC Nantes survival battle in Ligue 1 this season.
4.Chuba Akpom
The former Arsenal ace scored his third league goal for Ajax to beat Heerenveen 2-0, when he came off the bench he head home late in the game. Â He has been unhappy at Ajax, saying he is not played as a striker. This has led to speculation over his future. This latest win means they are now just a point away from league leaders PSV.

3.Promise David
The former Nigeria U23 international grabbed his sixth goal in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League when he converted a penalty he won against OH Leuven. The goal proved to be the match winner of this fixture and his club Union St.Gilloise are now third in the standings.
2.Ola Aina
The Super Eagles star has continued to show he is one of the best fullbacks in the Premier League after he provided an assist and then produced a game-defining goalline clearance for high-flying Nottingham Forest to consolidate third place in the English top league. Forest are enjoying a storming run this season and will want to do everything to keep their Nigerian star, whose contract runs out this summer.
Ola Aina again!!! 😀

1.Cyriel Dessers
The most apt response to the boo boys will be goals and that is what the Super Eagles striker did for Rangers to reach the sixth round of the Scottish Cup. He fired a hat-trick and also made an assist for the Scottish giants to trounce Fraserburg 5-0 in the fifth round of the cup competition. Dessers showed great character to shut out the outside noise and frustration of losing his place in the starting XI. Will he take up a chance to play regular first-team football away from Rangers now?
