Rwanda topple Super Eagles after win over Zimbabwe

Rwanda have now climbed to third position in Group C of the 2026 World Cup qualifying series after they won 1-0 at bottom team Zimbabwe today.

Rwanda now have 11 points from eight matches, while Nigeria dropped to fourth on 10 points with a game to play.

APR striker Gilbert Mugisha fired the match winner for the visitors after 40 minutes.
