Victor Osimhen has told Chelsea how much he wishes to earn should they sign him from Napoli during this transfer window.
According to the popular British tabloid The Sun, Osimhen has asked for a salary of 500,000 Pounds-a-week.
It will be a salary that will make him one of the highest earners in the Premier League.
The tabloid said Chelsea will not agree to this demand particularly at a time they are working on reducing the wages of the squad.
The newspaper said Chelsea could therefore be shopping for cheaper options like Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin as a result.
Chelsea will also not meet the player’s release clause of 130 Million Euros.
It is widely understood that ‘The Blues’ will not pay more than 70 Million Euros for the 25-year-old striker, who cost about the same amount when he joined Napoli four years ago.
Osimhen’s high salary and release clause as well as Chelsea insistence on a loan transfer are the main deal breakers.
