Various reports said that top Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli have now reached an agreement with Victor Osimhen.
It will be a four-year contract and Osimhen’s salary has been improved to 40 Million Euros-a-year after the initial proposal of 30 Million Euros-a-year was rejected.
The new salary will be four times what he earns currently at Napoli.
A Saudi newspaper reported the agreement, while Transfer Expert Ciro Venerato old RAI said in a few hours Osimhen will officially be an Al Ahli player.
The Ahli officials led by a director, Lee Congerton, met with Osimhen’s camp in Rome and Napoli president Aurelio De Lurentiis will also meet with them.
It is now left for the Jeddah club to reach an agreement with Napoli on a transfer fee.
The Saudis have offered 70 Million Euros plus bonuses, but Napoli want 100 Million Euros.
Napoli could get between 80 and 85 Million Euros.
Ahli have agreed to insert an exit clause reported to be less than 50 Million Euros, which will take effect after two seasons.
The Saudis latest push for Osimhen started since early June.
The latest Chelsea offer is a loan with an obligation to buy.
However, Osimhen has insisted he will not take a pay cut.
