In her caption on Instagram, Laila shared her excitement about the trip and mentioned the joy of reconnecting with familiar places and people.
According to the Moroccan beauty, family travel brings out feelings of love, laughter, and the importance of shared memories.
She wrote:
“Over the weekend, my family and I traveled to Asaba and then made our way to Idumuje-Ugboko—it was truly a trip to remember!
“From the excitement of the journey to the warmth of reconnecting with familiar places and faces, every moment was special.
“Travelling with family always reminds me of the importance of love, laughter, and shared experiences. Whether it was enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way, reminiscing about old memories, or simply being present with each other, this trip was filled with joy and gratitude.

Based on her experience, she noted that there are a lot of competitions in a polygamous house; from competing for the love and attention of their husband to competing on whose children will come out better and not fail the family.
“It was not an experience I planned for because I was raised in a Christian home. My dad was married only to my mum so there was no unnecessary competition for attention. The moment the husband’s favourite falls out with the him, the other wives will struggle to outshine each other to take her position thus making reconciliation difficult.”
The third wife of her husband continued:
“Alhamdulillah, my children are grown now and we the wives understand ourselves better but it is not a journey for the faint-hearted especially when you all live in the same house. And for someone who loves a large family, you will enjoy having so many kids calling you mummy.”
