PSG back for Osimhen as Transfer Deadline Day looms

PSG are expected to come back for Victor Osimhen with an official offer tabled to Napoli with the Transfer Deadline Day on Friday on the horizon.

However, Il Mattino newspaper said the offer by the French club will be “low-ball”.

“PSG – with whom he (Osimhen) has had an agreement for some time – will make an offer (lowering the fateful 130 Million Euros clause set last December) only in the last days of the (transfer) market,” reported Il Mattino.

Gazzetta dello Sport also reported that PSG will come back for the Napoli striker.

The leading Italian newspaper reported: “The feeling, in fact, is that in the next few days the first real official offer will arrive from PSG, the club at the top of Victor’s wish list, where his ‘football father’ Luis Campos is, the one who wanted him at Lille and who transformed him from potentially an excellent striker into an international level player.”

Osimhen has already agreed with PSG a five-year contract and an annual salary of 14 Million Euros.

The stumbling block is the release clause of 130 Million Euros, which PSG want to be reviewed downwards considerably.
