Pitso Mosimane: ‘Nobody gives credit to Orlando Pirates’

No Orlando Pirates fan deserves to miss this story. The great Pitso Mosimane has made a point that will send them to bed with a big smile before singing in the bath the following morning.

PITSO MOSIMANE DEMANDS RESPECT FOR ORLANDO PIRATES

During a chat about the need for PSL giants Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Pirates to consistently compete in Africa, Pitso believes that the Sea Robbers deserve more respect in Mzansi.

“You remember how Orlando Pirates used to do in the Champions League and they’ve done exceptionally well,” Mosimane said in the latest edition of Soccer Laduma.

“They were there all the years. They even carried the country to give us four spots in CAF – two for Champions League and two for Confed.

“Orlando Pirates kept South African for about seven or eight years and nobody gives Pirates credit for that,” the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly coach added.

Meanwhile, both Soweto giants have failed to qualify for next season’s CAF Champions League or Confederation Cup. Cape Town City FC will debut in the champions league, while Royal AM will test themselves in the Confederation Cup.

VIDEO: PIRATES UNVEIL NEW PLAYERS

Pirates fans have been given a welcomed injection of excitement. The Sea Robbers have introduced four of the six new signings at the club.

As The South African website previously reported, the club has completed six deals, but only four are introduced in this video. We see Eva Nga, Tapelo Xoki, Miguel Timm and Nkosinathi Sibisi. Read the full story here.
