Social media personality Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, has finally opened up on how he met CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry, Director of the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC) following actress Iyabo Ojo’s petition.
Recall that Iyabo Ojo petitioned the authorities, accusing the CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry of gross misconduct.

She also alleged that CP Uche failed to uphold the rule of law during her interrogation at the Cyber Crime Unit in Abuja.
According to the petition, VeryDarkMan, who is also a defendant in a separate criminal matter, was allowed to stroll into her interrogation room uninvited.
She alleged that the critic was casually drinking coffee and eating biscuits during the session.
VeryDarkMan reacts to Iyabo Ojo’s petition
In a video shared on Wednesday, August 6, VeryDarkMan stated that he was happy with the petition against CP Uche, as it was clear message to the police that not every case deserved out of court settlement.
“Iyabo Ojo has petitioned CP Uche, The Director of NPF-NCCC. She said he is the one giving me power and that why would they allow me to enter the interrogation room. I am happy she did this to you, CP Uche because it is not every case you try to settle. You should have charged her to court,”he said.
VeryDarkMan alleged that Iyabo filed the petition because ‘she didn’t want them to go ahead with her case with Naira Marley.’

Speaking on how he met CP Uche, VeryDarkMan disclosed that iyabo technically introduced him to the police chief as he shared screenshot of an alleged WhatsApp chat of how Iyabo’s lawyer and Tonto Dikeh filed a petition against him, which saw him charged to court.
“You technically introduced me to CP Uche when you petitioned me and I was charged to court. I was in cell for one month and he advised me. So I met him through you,” he said.
VeryDarkMan dismissed Iyabo’s claim that he was present in the interrogation room.
“It was at the conference room that we met when you were begging Naira Marley. You will have to prove that it was an interrogation room,” he said.
VeryDarkMan alleges plans to whitewash Iyabo Ojo
The social media critic, in the video, claimed Iyabo was suppose to tender a public apology to Naira Marley after which he (VDM) would come online to clear her image that she was moved by emotions when she accused the Marlian label boss.
“The original plan we had was that when she comes out publicly to apologise that she lied against Naira and people start bashing her, I will come out to clear her image that she was only emotional when she was accusing Naira. We will then write a petition on everyone who was in The house when Mohbad died. We went upstairs to see The CP and all of us were given tea. I also met Angela Okorie there,” he said.
Speaking more about Iyabo’s meeting with Naira Marley, VeryDarkMan said,
“When Iyabo was begging, CP Uche looked at her and said ‘why were you posting without verification?’ She said she saw the videos online. Naira agreed to let it go since she was willing to apologize. She said Naira should give her two weeks to make a video publicly and she would start promoting Naira’s song. I was mad at Naira for agreeing to two weeks but he said it was ok and the police were witnesses. It was after this that Iyabo said both of us should see. I have not even given the details of what we talked about. Iyabo refused to do the apology after two weeks. This same Iyabo told me with her mouth that Naira didn’t bully Mohbad. The police invited her again and she said her office got burnt. She now wants to blackmail the police with her petition. I guess she doesn’t know the office was surrounded with camera. Come back to Nigeria. I am still going to write a petition on everyone in Mohbad’s house when he passed away. Naira and Samlarry too are still coming back,” he added.

Doris Ogala defends CP Uche
Meanwhile, TheTalk.NG reported that actress Doris Ogala reacted to Iyabo Ojo’s petition against CP Uche Ifeanyi.
Defending CP Uche, Doris alleged how the police chief detained and arrested VeryDarkMan.
She also added that Iyabo accused the police chief of enabling the critic because the case was no longer going her way.
