Victor Osimhen’s transfer to Al Hilal is in danger of collapsing after the striker and Napoli demanded that the Saudi Arabian club step up their offer.
Osimhen has rejected the first offer put forward to him by the Riyadh club because it was not an improvement on the one by the same club last year.
Napoli, on the other hand, have insisted on the 75 Million Euros release clause of the player.
They have therefore rejected the offer of 65 Million Euros plus Five Million Euros add-ons by Al Hilal.
Al Hilal are now expected to submit a second and improved proposal to both Napoli and Osimhen as Sunday’s deadline for submission of final squad to the FIFA Club World Cup looms.
Al Hilal open their Club World Cup campaign in Miami on June 18 against mighty Real Madrid.
In the meantime, Galatasaray are still pushing to sign Osimhen on a permanent basis after a very successful loan spell.
