Italian newspaper II Mattino has reported that Victor Osimhen stands to earn as much at Galatasaray as he would have got at top Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal.
Al Hilal offered Osimhen an annual salary of 40 Million Euros, but the Super Eagles striker rejected this so as to stay put at Galatasaray, where he shone last season on loan.
II Mattino reported Osimhen insisted on a four-year contract after Galatasaray offered him a deal for three years.
He has therefore now got a contract until 2029.
His salary is put at between 15 and 18 Million Euros-a-year.
He will earn more money through countless bonuses as well as the exclusive management of his image rights, which will be handled by an Italian agency.
“There were some clauses that needed to be finalised, which when it comes to Osimhen are never small,” the newspaper reported.
“And so between various perks, including the number of goals and assists, the Nigerian will earn a fortune. Almost the same as what they guaranteed him in Saudi Arabia.”
