Victor Osimhen will miss forthcoming 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Libya so as to fully recover from a hamstring.
According to Italian newspaper Il Mattino, the Napoli loanee will forgo the AFCON double-header against Libya and stay back in Istanbul for his rehabilitation.
Galatasaray announced Osimhen suffered a hamstring injury on the left leg during a Turkish league match against Kasimpasa.
They did not state how long he will be sidelined.
Speculations are rife that Osimhen could be out for between 10 days and several weeks.
