Victor Osimhen has fired a broadside at Napoli and their fans when he touched down in Istanbul to complete his historic transfer to Galatasaray.
Osimhen had enjoyed a strong connection with the Napoli fans in his three years with the Italian club.
But there is now love lost between Osimhen and Napoli after he was forced to go on loan last season during which he connected with the Galatasaray and he is now set to make the transfer permanent.
The striker rubbed more salt into injury when on arrival he described Galatasaray fans as the best in the world, Napoli and their fans now history.
“If you ask me, Galatasaray fans are best in the world,” proclaimed Osimhen, who deleted everything connected with Napoli at the height of the problems on his social media accounts with the Italian club.
“I mean, just look at the crowds that come to see a player. It shows how much love they have for me.
“And I’m ready to give everything to achieve success with my teammates this new season.”
