Victor Osimhen and Galatasaray tonight stayed top of the standings after a massive 3-1 win at Fenerbache in the big Istanbul Derby.
It was the sixth win in as many matches for the reigning Turkish champions.
Napoli loanee Osimhen provided an assist for ‘Gala’ second goal scored by Dries Mertens.
Galatasaray are now five points clear of Fenerbache after six rounds of matches in the Turkish Super Lig.
Fenerbache coach Jose Mourinho made several daring substitutions to get his team back into this derby, but it was not to be as Galatasaray proved too good for their fierce city rivals.
In the build-up to the “Intercontinental Derby”, former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike, who featured for Fenerbache, drew the battle line against fellow Nigerian star Osimhen.
