David Okereke looks set to return to Belgium to feature for Cercle Brugge, the city rivals of his former team Club Brugge.
Okereke, 27, played for Club Brugge between 2019 and 2022.
Negotiations between Cercle Brugge and Okereke’s Italian club Cremonese are at an advanced stage and it is expected they will be concluded before the summer window closes by September 1.
Cercle Brugge have tabled an offer of three million euros for Okereke, who is at 2.2 million euros on the Transfermarkt
