It is now official that both Victor Osimhen and South Africa-based defender Olisa Ndah will miss a 2025 AFCON double-header against Libya due to injury.
The NFF today released a squad list for the qualifiers against Libya with both players excluded.
Osimhen and Ndah were injured on duty with their respective clubs.
Caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen has again listed captain William Ekong, Ademola Lookman, Stanley Nwabali and Wilfred Ndidi for these matches.
All the players are expected to report in Uyo on Monday, 7th October.
The Super Eagles welcome Libya to Uyo on Friday, October 11, before both teams clash again four days later in North Africa.
Nigeria top Group D with four points from two matches, while Libya are bottom with a point.
