Super Eagles No 1 goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has expressed confidence he has turned the corner after he scooped the Man of the Match award for Chippa United goalless draw at Richards Bay.
Nwabali has been mourning the passing of his parents within few months and this has adversely affected his performance on the pitch.
However, the giant shot stopper deserved his Man of the Match prize at Richards Bay as he kept a clean sheet and earned Chippa United a valuable point.
“Not been easy heading,” he posted on X
“Man of the Match and a clean sheet.
“All thanks to the team. We go again.”
Chippa United are ninth in the South African PSL standings with 22 points from 18 matches.
