It is advantage NPFL leaders Remo Stars after closest rivals Shooting Stars and Rivers United could only play out a goalless draw when both teams clashed today in continuation of the domestic championship.
The draw today in Ibadan meant Remo Stars now have an 11-point gap at the top of the table after 27 rounds of matches.
Rivers United remain in second place on 43 points and a +6 goals difference, while Shooting Stars are third with 43 points and +5 goals difference.
Lobi Stars remain rooted at the bottom of the standings after they fell 1-0 at El Kanemi Warriors, who have now climbed to eighth with 40 points.
In Monday’s third game, Akwa United gave themselves a fighting chance to escape relegation when they edged past Katsina United by the odd goal to now be four points to safety.
